A comprehensive study from Save the Children sheds light on how the most vulnerable children around the world have been affected by COVID-19. <\/p>\n

<\/em><\/p>\n

Around 13,500 children and over 31,000 caregivers have shared their experiences with a large research team since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. <\/p>\n

Globally, more than 8 in 10 children felt they learned very little or nothing when schools closed Two-thirds of parents\/caregivers reported that their child had not been in contact with teachers since the lockdown. <\/p>\n

Three-quarters of households lost income as a result of COVID-19, and the vast majority of households (96%) reported having trouble paying for an essential good or service. <\/p>\n

Four out of five struggled to pay for food, and two out of five households found it difficult to provide their families with a nutritious diet. <\/p>\n<\/em>

<\/em><\/p>\n

Most parents and caregivers (89%) reported that their access to healthcare, medication or medical supplies had deteriorated. <\/em><\/p>\n
