Sharing the World

new danish development policy strategy

Today, Thursday d. On June 24, 2021, Denmark’s new development policy strategy will be launched under the heading ‘together for the world’.

A majority of the Danish parliamentary parties are behind the agreement.

In the next four years, ‘together for the world’ sets the framework for Denmark’s contribution to fighting poverty, promoting democracy and human rights and in the fight for climate, nature and the environment.

The strategy reminds us that there are less than 10 years to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals. So we’re busy.

Civil society plays a central role in building a better and fairer world together.

CICED is particularly pleased that quality education continues to be emphasized as one of the five essential prerequisites for a good life.

Debatmøde om lokalt ledet udvikling

- d. 26. november 2024
