ViSTA – new CICED online magazine

CICED’s new online magazine is ‘on the street’ today, d. March 11.

With the coronavirus as a backdrop, the first feature article focuses on Mongolia’s efforts to contain the virus. With all kindergartens, schools and universities closed for the time being, the country faces a huge challenge to find alternative ways of teaching during the quarantine. The article was written on the basis of extensive research over three weeks from the end of February to March 9 by Ines Stolpe and Erdene-Ochir, professor and guest lecturer at Mongolian Studies at the University of Bonn, respectively.

The second article is a longread about the work of young Nepalese people in establishing the first cross-ethnic and cross-social youth cooperative in Helambu, Nepal. The initiative is a spin-off from CICED’s project with JUST Nepal ‘Putting Youth on the Center Stage’. Two young initiators, the head of JUST Nepal and Ram Chandra Paudel, who facilitated all the youth camps during the project, are interviewed about their views on the youth’s opportunities for a future in Nepal, so the trip to Dubai can be shelved.

Debatmøde om lokalt ledet udvikling

- d. 26. november 2024

Deltagelse gratis, men tilmelding nødvendig.
