Sign language is key 

Sign language is the key to inclusion of deaf in any society.

In Tanzania sign language in general and quality sign language in particular is rare.

Together with the the Tanzanian organizations for respectively the deaf (CHAVITA) and sign language interpreters (TASLI) we supported training of sign language trainers and training of deaf in 4 locations as well as preparing the ground for an officially certified sign language course in Tanzania.

The project was implemented 2017-June 2019 with a budget of 400,000 DKK.
